ConverTool terms of use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms apply to the ConverTool app made by mobilgem. By using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You can find them at any time in the app under Settings → About → Terms of use.
1. What ConverTool is
ConverTool is a unit converter: length, area, volume, mass, temperature, time, speed, fuel consumption, pressure, energy, power, force, torque, angle, data, data rate, density and kitchen measures. It is free and supported by ads.
2. Accuracy
- Conversions use exact definitions where a unit has one, and named sources otherwise; the app shows each unit’s definition.
- Results are rounded to the number of significant digits you choose.
- Kitchen measures are approximate. Traditional cups and spoons use commonly accepted values, and converting a volume to a weight depends on the ingredient and how it is filled. These results are marked “≈” and are meant to give you an idea only.
- Results are for general information and are not binding. Do not rely on them alone where a mistake could cause harm or loss — for example medicine doses, engineering, aviation or navigation, legal metrology or trade. Check such values against an authoritative source.
- Decisions you make based on a result are your own.
3. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it correct and working, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose.
4. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, mobilgem is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app or its results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
5. Your use
Use the app lawfully. You are responsible for the values you enter and for how you use the results.
6. Advertising
The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they lead to.
7. Intellectual property
The ConverTool name, app and design belong to mobilgem. Open-source components are used under their own licences, listed in the app under Settings → About → Open source licences.
8. Privacy
How the app handles data is explained in the ConverTool privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; by continuing to use the app after a change you accept the new version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
